Very good miles, just ordered 60 ships from Navwar for my planned game for Fisticuffs next year

Sean.
How's the new gaming table looking?

Miles good to see the stuff is coming together for the Ardennes.

How will you get your 60 ships on to your Hammin Iron cloth Stewart? Sounds like a good looking game though.

Sean Clark

I am in delicate negotiations to use the old dining room table rather than selling it. It's 5x3 son with a board on top would do nicely.

Leslie BT

Miles hope you are having fun creating the german / american lookalikes!

Looking forward to see how you're getting on with these units.

Reading into Les, I think just doing 4 jeeps and a H/T as a mobile engineer support would suffice for the disguised American/Germans ? As the were there to blow up bridges or dismantle explosives Ect. Then the other squads would be bog standard Germans in either painted German H/T and trucks or captured US vehicles. Or at least for now. Along with the tanks and maybe some amourmed cars to but see how time goes.

Brigade Commander Otto Skorzeny
The brigade's Panther tanks were disguised as M10 tank destroyers by removing their cupolas and disguising their hulls and turrets with thin sheet metal.
The problem of recognition by their own forces was crucial, and they were to identify themselves by various methods: displaying a small yellow triangle at the rear of their vehicles; tanks keeping their guns pointing in the nine o' clock position; troops wearing pink or blue scarves and removing their helmets; and flashes from a blue or red torch at night.

Should be interesting on table.

I am still working on my Walter Schnaffs units.

Finally basing my Nationalist Regulars then it's the buildings. Oh 24 to paint! Plus building a factory for my Anarchists to defend.

Duncan

Busy with snowy tree covered hills for the Ardennes day.

Also building a harbour area for my model railway. (When I have time that is!😥)

Leman (Andy)

I quite fancy a game defending the quays in Antwerp as the hordes in grey approach with menacing dirigibles overhead.

Having started listening to the Last Kingdom again on my way home from Weymouth, I've got into a bit of a Viking mood. So tonight I have finally put sails on my viking ships. Skellagrim the Hound now has 5 ships looking rather splendid with which to go a viking in. I am thinking I may do a video battle report with them in. Just need

1. Time
2. energy

If anyone has any spare can you send me some!

Leman (Andy)

Head for the coast and take many deep breaths followed by a brisk walk. It works wonders!  :)

Sean Clark

Excellent.! Im in Weymouth for the internationally renowned gathering of RFCM devotees at the end of the month. I shall take a daily constitutional along the sea front!
