Always interesting to hear what others are working on at the moment. It'll be no surprise to those that know me that it is virtually all Peter Pig stuff.

1. My Somme Squarebashing game for the Piggie weekender.
2. Rebasing my Vietnam for the new Men of Coy. B
3. AWI and ACW collections both need finishing to the stage where I can fight all of the historical battles listed in the rules book.
4. Some odds and ends for Regiment of Foote like the preacher, dog and sprinkles set.

I also do some other bits at my club, mainly Warmachine and Malifaux; so I always have a few figures for those games on my workbench.

Regards

Sean

Currently:

3mm ACW for a Shiloh scenario (plus others in western theatre)

2mm Langensaltza 1866 - almost complete apart from some poplars and road sections

6mm ACW Vicksburg campaign for use with Altar of Freedom.

Everything else resting at present. Next project likely to be 15mm ECW, Waller's Western army.

pbeccas (Paul)

A 24 man Rebel regiment of Peter Pig figures based up for Black Powder.  A 28mm Australian cavalry Vickers Mk VI.  And Chewbacca from the Imperial Assault game.

Stewart 46A

2. More VC & NVA dead, Sappers for Men of Coy B
3. Ordered the new buildings for ECW
4. 3 packs of high walls , base coat done needs finishing touch

Leman (Andy)

Thanks for that info Stewart. I hadn't realised the new buildings were now available.

What am I working on is a bit like how many projects have you not finished.

I'm currently working on
15mm
RCW red army (on going for the last two years)
WW1 LW French ( new project 4 battalions painted another six just ordered)
Partians - PP figures DBX based bought for ADLG but i just like the figures, six more LH to paint (started this year and hopefully finished soon)
FPW - one Prussian division painted, plus some Saxons need to paint the French (on going 2 years plus)
Gauls - just a few outstanding (DBX type again)
AWI - I still have some Brits and Americans to paint, outstanding from Washington's Wars
Napoleonics - Waterloo Allies, should have been ready for an anniversary game of Quatre Bras, running a bit late on that.
Roman Civil Wars - Caesars started 2016 when will it be completed?

I'd better not add the 25mm lead pile.

More interesting is what to start next.

It doesn't matter how many projects we have on the go, it only takes a film, magazine article or website to kick start another one. The number of times I have contemplated Ancients is ridiculous. I too am looking at ADLG thanks to Tim Porter (aka Madaxeman).

Also French Indian wars, Franco Prussian, War of 1812, Zulus, Crimean, Marlburian...etc etc  ;D

Back to some ACW now.

Oh dear don't get me started on that

Colonel Kilgore

Well, I had been working on AK47 for quite some time. I've not quite painted everything in the lead pile yet, but have several boxes of toys based and ready to go: already more than I could legitimately deploy for 2 forces.

So I started on some Sudan figures for some light entertainment. I still have several (dozens...) to go.

Until I got distracted by the [non-RFCM - sorry...] Muskets & Tomahawks rules (skirmish: not too many figures to paint up), so I bought far more Piggy AWI than I'll need for that too.

I am very proud that I resisted the urge to restart on ECW (I have a lot of painting time invested in some old Mikes Models figures, of "quaint" proportions that might not fit too well with the latest PP offerings), but I have been sorely tempted...

But then I was struggling to find time to do any painting at all, due to providing a taxi service for the children and having to go to work occasionally to feed the lead habit.

Fortunately Osprey then issued "A World Aflame" (skirmish, simple rules, even easier to paint up) so I'd been buying some of Martin's nice new SCW sculpts too.

Of course, he then went and complicated things by starting work on a re-boot of the Vietnam rules [which will now usefully fit on our dining room table...], figures for which I'm currently working on now.

I hope I'm not alone in my pursuit of the latest shiny things...

Kilgore,

You can rest assured that you are a certified wargamer of some merit. Base those SCW on 3cmx3cm for World in Flames then they'll be usable in the new PBI variant for SCW that Martin is looking at next towards the end of the year!

Colonel Kilgore

Sean,

You are too kind.

I now feel fully empowered to continue in my dysfunctional ways, in the sure knowledge that I am following the True Path.

Thank you,

Simon

Just expanding my ECW collection, every now and then, to allow me to play 2000 pts (approx 600 figs) per side for Baroque.  Not much time for my own stuff as I'm fully booked up for almost 18 months painting for others.

Covenanters and Montrose Royalists for my own collection next year.

My lead pile all gone, couple of resin buildings to finish then my paint brush can retire for a week or two

Have you made a pact with the Devil Stewart?
