But today I have a day off. Some jobs around the house but have built the last of the straight rail sections.  Undercoat these later today and might get chance to work on the ballast of the three already painted

Off to start another set of modular sections for the table.  These will be 15cm x 20cm modules so they can be designed and templates made which speeds up things and improvements from the first set.

And a bit of inspiration from a recent Xbox session on one of the Stalingrad maps.

Templates let me crack on through the build process. Also means I can use up off cuts from earlier as well.

A bit smaller at 15cm x 20cm

That looks like a very professional approach.

What's that snazzy machinery in the second picture down?

That will be my Ender-3. A FDM 3D printer. Working hard on making all the window frames

Four modules done. Need to do a more squat warehouse and then start to look at the apartment blocks

Traffic

Small warehouse sections undercoated and a proof of concept for building faces. Need to find a smoother filler

The tech guys at the MK (Milton Keynes) maker space like this machine, it's the machine a few of them have as their personal machine. I've found it easy to use.

I think a little overscale can look fine - this does to me!

All very space age. I wish I had the space for something like this!

So a bit of progress, but day job getting in the way.

Next factory unit underway

All assembled

Colonel Kilgore

That's all coming along very nicely, Si!

Day jobs are over-rated  :D
