So today is about the blood sweat and tears that go with building stuff.

First off is the blood

Colonel Kilgore

Ouch!

Let no-one ever say this is a bloodless hobby...

Simon

Traffic

Sweat and tears however are ameliorated by tools

Colonel Kilgore

Very impressive, and hopefully worth the spilt blood!

It's great to see what can be achieved with the technology nowadays: I'm just waiting for the figure-painting robot to come out :)

Simon

Used the extra hour to start the distressing phase.

It's wonderful what you can achieve with that cutter and a bit of organisation. The "distressing" process is adding another dimension to the whole thing.

Work on the Commissars House

Colonel Kilgore

This is great stuff, Si, and coming on a treat!

Simon

Thanks for the encouragement.

All glued together and undercoated.  False floor added.  PVA and brickwork next and then think about the rest of the walls and the second floor. By the time the building was assaulted it had taken a pounding from SiG33Bs but not enough to breach the walls so might just add damage around the windows.

Need to do the front steps, columns and balustrade. Once all the brickwork is on

Traffic

Brick work today, plus an idea of size. It is about the same dimensions deep.

Colonel Kilgore

I don't know whether to be more jealous of all this fine workmanship, or of your having the space to (presumably) store all the finished articles!

I have a cave with storage built into my table.

Colonel Kilgore

So now,I am well and truly jealous!  :D
