That's great Jimmy.

You Zumos love your technology. Showing off with your Zumo meetings. :)

Julian

Hah! Very true though. We shall make good use of technology too!

Simon,

Interesting developments!

Jimmy,

Lovely stuff.

The narrative for AK Day is developing nicely. I shall add both posts to the AK blog.

Sean Clark

Martin B,

Those reports of a crime wave are very disturbing.
Let it be known that the Chief of Police may quickly become the ex Chief of Police, or even the Chief of Police RIP if something isn't done about it!

Sean Clark

Does CACK have connections with a certain team of criminals who drive around in a transit van and can make a tank out of a piece of hose, a cardboard box and a dustbin lid?

Colonel Kilgore

Papa Whisky has now heard of this scurrilous and libellous rumour-mongering of activities within his country's borders.

He is said not to be amused, and to be mobilising local forces to investigate and stamp out any such territorial incursions.

Breaking News

Reports have been recieved from sources close to Martin Chumbo that he is denouncing his brother, Derek's, actions and alleging a militairy coup has taken place with Derek assuming command.

Dr Chumbo remains in hiding at an undisclosed location, thought to be close to the capital Kalubya. He has strong support amongst the townships and settlements in Orantu Province and all four provincial leaders are said to be in support of Dr Martin returning to power.

Where this leaves the Democratic elections in October, no one knows. Derek Chumbo has so far refused to comment, but there are reports that a large consignment of Cuban cigars has been seen entering the Presidential Palace, bearing the trading name e of an obscure UK company baes in Shepherds Bush.

The UK government have remained silent on this as suspicions grow that they are about to back the Derek administration with a smear campaign against Dr Martin.

Possibly of more interest is the French governement condemning the situation in uMbongo and indicating that they stand wholly behind the democratically elected Dr Martin, and if required will put boots on the ground in a show of brotherhood and fraternity. Possibly in exchange for some Goats.

What is for certain is that things remain uncertain, with no certainty that the October election will go ahead, and the uncertainty this will bring to what has been a relatively stable country in recent years, will certainly ensure that things remain uncertain for some time.

This is Bob Sneedling, for the BBC, Kalabya, uMbongo.

Colonel Kilgore

Well done Bob Sneedling - that is certainly helpful information in these uncertain times.

Simon

Sean Clark

I'll certainly pass on your thanks to Bob.

Some "Helicopter" views of the country retreat and Cooking Oil factory of Vegan Enterprise and looking at the country Manor, Mr Antony Vegan could well be in country and resident in the "Manor House" ?

Very nice layout. Must be the posh bit!

Nearly done with the rough end of town the posh peeps never acknowledge exists!  In fact apart from templates it is about done.

Hmmm, ok at a lose end right now. maybe find a bit of floor-space and through some stuff down for a piccy or 2.

I thought I see how my table should sort of look for the AK47 day.
Obviously an idealistic table, hence the railway line and working trucks etc. Does the scenery look good? Should I change some of the templates etc ? Those sort of questions, so I thought I would take some pictures and share the view ?
Will be better next year when I can make up company logos and proper signs etc and be able to print out my own things.

OK, bear in mind this is a work in progress. Still have a water tower to paint up, another scrap-yard, a couple of templates to do and some roads. The wooded bits are hand made and not sure yet if I want o have them as burnt out or polluted. Thoughts?

Very nice, hopefully we should have some rather nice tables to play on ?

Miles and Derek,
Both tables look very nice. I must get on with mine.

Best wishes,
Martin Buck

Colonel Kilgore

Miles and Derek,

I agree - both look great. I particularly like Miles's mansion and factory, and Derek's woods and radar station.

I've been cutting out templates for my table tonight. Less than 3 weeks to go - what could go wrong...?
