Can we build up a hive of useless  facts for the western period?  A fact such as which type of weapon plains Indians used most is not what is needed.  What is wanted is those useless facts that gamers stop a game progressing by telling to all who are around.  Facts can include those related to the actors in Western movies too.

here are two
1. Doggie as in the rawhide "get along little doggie"  song is a young longhorn cattle.
2. Cowboys wear chaps. The pronunciation is "shaps". Similar to the pronunciation of High Chaparral.

24 more needed!  Then you can interrupt any game with confidence!

The first Colt revolver was made in 1836. Until then, all "cowboy" pistols were single-shot.

Wearing two revolvers was not necessarily so that you could fire one in each hand, but rather to be able to swap to the second one without having to reload your weapon in the middle of a shootout.
