I am playing Square Bashing at the club on Friday. I always try to get a game in around Armistice  Day.

What Armies are you suggesting for this Game day ?
I would suggest up to 1942 ?

We need 4 armies in total.
What army would John like to bring and then you and I Miles can bring 3 more armies that tie in period wise? How does that sound?

Les; yes it is remembrance day.  I tend to carry on with whatever I usually do but give up a couple of minutes to remember.  I suspect that the club will have a silence at 11am?  That will not interrupt the day much.  The major event for remembrance tends to be the Sunday nearest the 11th. On that day I expect many will watch or attend a ceremony.  Weymouth usually has  a pretty impressive one.

How are you  now Les? Ready to start work on the next set of rules?

My, you certainly have the goods there John.

May I propose we theme the fighting day as either desert or Jungle?
I say this so that we can match the scenery to the armies?
That will look nice.

I have a jungle army I can  share/lend and also a desert army I can share/lend.

What do others think.

I ve still not had time to put my Jungle together yet ?
As I ve been doing the city scape !
I got the bits of Jungle and Bamboo and templates cut.
Just need to get a small tin of reddish brown colour That Vietnam is famous for. Then it covers 2 games. PBI, MoCB and maybe AK47 at a pinch.

I've got some desert terrain but I don't think I've got a cloth. I've got no jungle terrain but I do have a cloth.

We can do jungle next time when folk have their set ups sorted.
If Miles brings a desert set up and martin brings a desert set up we have the two set ups we need?
