This is a bit soon but who is thinking of attending this one?

Washington's army uses a measure (12" ruler is best)  for movement(shock). :o

1. Early war British Northern
2.Early war British Southern
3. late war British Northern
4.Late war British Southern
5. British loyalist
6.Early war American Northern
7. Early war American Southern
8. Late war American Northern
9. late war American Southern
10. American militia Southern

How about we "theme it"

I would suggest the late war campaigning in the south??

I can bring 2 or maybe 3 armies.

Martin,

I'm coming.

Can offer several armies, if needed. Even have French, if they tickle anyone's fancy - zut aloes!

Richard

martin goddard

The French would fit into the Southern campaign.
Is there a possibility of players splitting into American and British teams with the  adding up of points to give an overall winner for the day?

Apparently there are no grids in Washington's army???  I need to check.

martin ???

Stewart 46A

Definitely no grids, they weren't invented when these rules were tested.

I'll be there and can be either English or American

Stewart

Moggy

I am up for it.

Not sure if I will have a complete army ready for it though. May have to change plans for what I am painting etc soon though.

I will be there regardless.

Derek

Big Mike

I have no armies but plan to to be there.
Mike

martin can provide 3 or 4 armies as needed.

John Watson

Count me in. I have two armies, British and American, but I can't remember if they are early or late. (I'll have to check). It is so long since I last played I have forgotten most of it.

Colonel Kilgore

Having been on hols for yesterday's Longships day, I'm afraid I won't make this one either.

Stewart again clearly failed to consult my family's diary before scheduling this AWI event. We'll have words  ;D

Simon, I would next time say to the family. Here are the dates I am gaming on these days ! Work around it ? Longships was in the middle of my Anniversary weekend, but I still attended ! But when I got home I did have to buy my wife and sister in law KFC, as they had done the sandwiches and snacks for the Evening do.
Anyway I digress.
Yes I would love to be there !
But again another game I have yet to do an army for ?
So I can either play with others or borrow an Army or Two for the day please ?
Miles

Colonel Kilgore

You make a very good point, Miles (do remind me to introduce you to my wife sometime...)  ;D

Simon

Sean Clark

As much as I love coming down to see you all, my daughters activities must come first. She has a busy weekend when you'll all be be playing Washingtons Army. As a doting parent I need to support her rather than leave her to it.

CWB weekend is my next trip hopefully. Though I notice that is two consecutive game days where a ruler is required. If we're  not careful, we'll  start to get a reputation!

Stewart 46A

Don't worry Sean, family comes first, there will many other battle days
