Yes a great weekend.
Thanks to Kate and Luke, our hosts.
Thanks to Stewart, our commander in chief, quartermaster general and chief of staff all rolled into one. Not bad considering he's a navy chap. Well done Stewart.
Thanks to Martin for "filling in the gaps".
Thanks to Sean for the sharing the calva and for the magnificent Trench Raid game.
Thanks to Big Mike for supplying the calva.
Thanks to Chris for the AWI game and for leaving me to try to rescue the shambles of a left flank in the CWB game (I failed).
Thanks to Miles for the loan of the CWB terrain.
Thanks to Simon for the Somerset Cider Brandy aka English calva.
Thanks to Eric for the French perspective on life and gaming.
Thanks to everyone else for being great opponents or allies.
Here's to next year.

Hear hear.

An excellent weekend in great company. Great to meet Matt amd Weymouth Mike for the first time and get to play games with them.

I played 7 games, 5 of which I hadn't  played for some time  but it reminded me how good they all were. 8 would have loved to play more, but 7 games is probably the equivalent of 3 months worth of gaming at my current rate. No wonder i had a bad head on Saturday night!

The only disappointment is that I forgot to taoe the last of the Calva that Big Mike had giftwd to me. Several of us enjoyed a sip on Friday night though, and it was delicious!

Well done all for making another memorable weekend and roll on next year.

Sean,
Thanks for hosting the Vietnam game. Eric and I enjoyed being Charlie.
I rescued the remains of the Calva but it may not last until the next WWW. Glad it spread so much goodwill. Only Les knows from whence it came.

I think Spanish Civil War or Mexico as both were missing this weekend. Only so much time to game!

Sean I am planning both those get a play day next year but can be included at the WWW 24,
I can run a Mexican game and I'm sure Martin can be persuaded to run a SCW game

I was thinking more of the game I'd like to bring down. Though there were others missing like AK47, Wars of the Roses, Square Bashing and Samurai, so lots to choose from.
