Once I have finished my Naseby game and Quickfire battle report, I will be concentrating on AK for the big day.

I'm intending to make a set of scenery us painting up my own new army for the day. I have more than enough for 2 armies already, but it'll be nice to dig into the lead mountain amd get some more done.

My 6x3 mousepad gaming mat has arrived. Went for the GRASS effect. Deepcut Studios. What a lovely product. Very happy. Glad i also bought a deepcut mat bag for it as there is zero chance of getting the mat back into the plastic bag it came in. In comparison to what can be paid out for things, £50 for the mat represents good value.

Awaiting roads and woodland templates from Fat Frank and then ready for the campaign northwards into the Midlands in early October

Just had an email from an African sounding General letting me know he has many millions of those notes he is trying to get out of the country and that if I help him and give my bank details I can keep 40%.

Couldn't get his name but sounded like Mart Gobbad or something like that!
