Very nice work ...on all of them.

Now, enough of making us all jealous of your ECW painting - how are your Samurai plans coming along?

Radar

Samurai aren't happening. Purse strings being tightened until I get a new job.

Hey, if you keep on at this, you'll start to get quite good, Radar  ;)

But, more seriously - have you reinforced your gaming table to carry all that extra lead?

Lovely work again - this unit really conveys the feel of a cavalry charge - thanks for sharing.

Radar

Thanks Colonel.
Here's hoping 🤞

Reinforced table? If only I had a table big enough. Tend to play on the floor of the loft conversion.

martin goddard

How many ECW cavalry figures do you now have?

Somewhere in the region of 700, I think. Certainly north of 650.

That's including the Scots of course

(Plus about 200 dragoons, 1800 foot)

To celebrate having running water (from taps, rather than through kitchen ceilings) at Château KeepYourPowderDry, here's Henry Ireton's Troop from Cromwell's Regiment of Horse.

They look as thought they've dried out nicely - will you be adding puddles to the bases of your next unit?

Radar

It's still a sore point. ;)

Problem located, but whoever fitted the shower (not me, a professional plumber I may hasten to add) has embedded an outside tap fitting in the wall. After many bad words and oaths uttered, I have given up and fitted isolation valves to the shower feeds. So at least we have water from taps again. The offending pipework needs a good coat of looking at.

Once tried to model puddles using Vallejo still water a wee while ago. Didn't really work.

Antioch (Bob)

Radar...glad you have your water problem mostly fixed... and sympathies (I hate plumbing).

Another nice job on the cavalry...wondering if high humidity helps with the paint  job..😀
