Excellent Sean, you can almost smell the cordite

Ok, I am done. No more painting, modelling or building. Over 400 figures painted.

The work of several months is done and my game '1st Day of the Somme' is ready. Its a 900 pt Square bashing game to represent the first to attacks to take the fortified villages of Serre, Beaumont Hamel and Thiepval (I've left off Ovillers).

The British objective is simple. Take the villages. I am hopefully leaving before 10 in the morning and can't wait to get going with all the fun an games. My game is scheduled for Sunday morning. Plenty of pictures will be taken and a fully report of the whole weekend will be forthcoming.

You joked about Gettysburg last year....

I'm thinking of doing Picketts charge this year. Might be a bit boring for the Union though. Maybe Freemans Farm.  Still some time before I commit!

Sean Clark

Oh and I'll have my usual room too please :-)
