Excellent - did you source this mat yourself, Les, or was it part of Stewart's order?

I took the information from Stewart and asked about having the mats sent directly to France. After making enquirers, both Stewart and the mat firm said they could be ordered as part of Stewart's order and be sent to France.
And then Stewart postponed his order until after your gaming day. so we just got on and ordered two to be sent to France.
They were at the same price as had been quoted to Stewart, including the postage.

When these two mats arrived 10 days ago we opened the package and found they had created a 100mm square grid on a 3/0 x 5/0 blue mat.
So I check the details of the order which I had correctly ordered 100mm hex's. So I emailed the company with a scan of what had been sent.
A very quick reply with apologies and that they were to be reordered.

The correct mats arrived yesterday. So all we need now is a game on a blue cloth with is 100mm square grid.

Thanks Les - I had had some quality control issues with same company previously (non-square squares...) but had hoped they'd improved things. Still, glad you've got your hexes now!

I know that feeling i have four mats which should all have 6 inch squares, the all came plain. So at some time i will mark them out myself....
