Currently making a flying bull / chaos dwarf hybrid thingy (Lamussa? Something like that, can't  remember the  spelling.) As a mount for a general/hero in my Tjubling army.

Also remaining the railway and making a couple more dice towers as well as an island for pirates.

Lots to do, then got to get back to finish off thev1/300 scale ECW stuff.

Just completing the rebased WWI jaegers, whilst cleaning up the German dragoons ready to start painting.

Managed to distract myself from death by brown paint *, I have fallen down a wormhole that is Scots Covenators. A unit of lancers, and some frame guns. Spent ages trying to source appropriate pack horses. Of course they need appropriate casualty markers so I've been playing around doing casualty marker headswaps. All ready for some paint this weekend.

* realised that I had used 12 different shades of brown painting 2 units of parliamentarian cavalry.  So I stalled. Six more of those still to do...

Leman (Andy)

Death by hodden grey paint then?

Radar

Ha. Yes I guess you are right there

Leman (Andy)

Now into the German dragoons, just for a laugh I thought I would go with pink piping - livens up the field grey and brown leather, so now I will have pink German dragoons for the SYW, the Wars of German unification and WWI.

That is the last of my Salute 2018 swag, once that is complete I can reward myself with a star fort at Vapnartak and start a shopping list for Salute!

Those are really nice, and bring out the sculpted detail well.

Certainly worth those 12 shades of brown :)

Where did you get that flag from ?

Radar

Thanks. Pretty sure I made it to 14 shades of brown in total. (Bought some more for some reason.)

All my flags are from Maverick Models. They are fabric, really like them. A number of my flags aren't listed on the website yet, as Stuart made them on my instruction.

Noggin

Currently working on cowboys that I had for years but never finished. Western has reinvigorated my interest. Finished off the plains Indians the other week. Once the cowboys are complete I have some townsfolk to finish and then all done.

Wow just looked at Maverick Models website, some great union flags there as well as others.
I am working on a modern British Team Yankee force for a games day in December at Entoyment.
Then I must get back to doing British tanks for the Beachhead assault games next year. Finish off some Churchill Funnies and Shermans.

Radar

I use the fabric flags, in smaller sizes I recommend not having the shading effect applied. The fabric flags need preparing with a 50/50 water/PVA mix, then allow to dry. Trim and fit.
Stuart is very helpful, he must be sick of me sending him flag graphic files...

Beautiful figures as always, Radar. What paints did you use for the helmets?

Radar

Thanks Mike. All the armour is Foundry 'blackened barrel' with a Citadel nuln oil wash.
