The Viking Day was an excellent day's gaming, thank  to Martin for facilitating and burning the midnight oil with his paintbrush to bring 3 armies. Entoyment did us proud especially with a free lunch  for us all!
The newer conscripts to Longships did well in their games, which is testimony to the playability of the rules. As always we found some strange reactions in some games, such as the fanatical Sons of Ireland routing ( event with a re-roll) after seeing their opponents reduced to 2 bases and melt into the mist.
Sean, we missed you and your Northern hordes, so hope you are soon fit and well.

I've realised that the number of figures required for Longships is not quite as daunting as I had first thought, and am now sorely tempted to build a little raiding party - once I've painted up three WW2 companies, a couple more Vietnam forces and a bunch of Pirates...
