My round markers should be fine as only 1 unit in a square and they affect the whole unit as to number of bases able to fire

The current markers will certainly be used.
I am making some super clear makers for play testing.
Maybe have the jammed markers on Triangles so that they can but up to the unit rear. Circular ones may seem more unattached?

Mike hada 4 unit Dervish force.
1 poor and 2 veterans.

martin had a 3 unit British force. 9 bases per unit. Plus 4 scouts.

After the success of my first Svaneti tower, I'm working on a second one with attached buildings. The Orthodox church is all but finished now. It is quite cathartic converting all those foam scraps into tangible scenic pieces. At some point I will have to turn to the actual figures again! I've had some success using PP 16/62 Cossack heads on Irregular Caucasus infantry to inject more variety...
