Not sure if people have read this book ?
Anzac Fury: The Bloody Battle of Crete 1941 Peter Thompson.
A lot of the other books on this subject seem to be bank balance busting prices.

I found the commander of the battalion, Lieutenant Colonel Theodore Gordon Walker (19391941).
Wow there is quite a history behind this unit.

They will happen Helen.
Today spent preparing the Mexrev rules for "putting out there"
martin :)

Thanks Martin.

Just bought some railway, railway station and rural roads for the upcoming rules.
Now to find some suitable buildings.

Cheers,

Helen

Oh yeah, my gaming group is going to give the game a good run over the next few weeks. Several of us are really into ACW naval gaming but most rules tend to be overwhelming for all but hardened ACW history buffs. We already used the old Yamamoto Ironclad board games counters and map to give the rules a play while I get the minis ready for play. The CSS Arkansas repeated history and beat up three Yankee gunboats on the Yazoo river. It's just right for our group.

Les, that's a very good find, thanks.

I think you've just partially answered your own earlier question  ;)

Stop the press! I've just filed my copy, Martin.

Good luck in pulling this next issue together!

Terry, to order for QR you need to follow the instructions under the section "Orders". It may seem a bit antiquated but it worked for me. It was also re-assuring that when dealing with a foreign country I had contact from them with a definite price, rather than calculating the price myself with the off chance that I got it wrong. If my memory serves me well I got my order through in under two weeks from their response to my e-mail. Hope that helps.
