Thanks - I've gone with the grey primer (which i've used before) and followed it up with the black wash. Detail still looks good.

I have always undercoated, be it black, white or grey.
I've prepped a load of pp's British AWI infantry and thought I'd give a couple of figures a wash with GW nuln oil and wow did it bring out the details.
My eye sight is not what it used to be and even with glasses and an illuminated magnifier I can't see this much detail.
So what am I'm thinking - undercoat or not? Does anyone else leave off the undercoat?

I bought a couple of their 15mm ww2 tanks at Vanquish at the weekend. Very nice detail  but delicate guns.

Doh I hate predictive text -sidecars ! Should have read what size are the bases?

The basing idea is great - what sidecars they? And from where?

Wild west figures, started collecting them in mid  to late 90's I think.  I thought it was about the time they were released, but I might be wrong. Brought the rules at the same time. Still have them and still have a read every so often.

Can anyone recommend a supplier of 15mm flags for AWI french. I've been using Revo but they only have a 4 french (if I remember correctly).

Back on the AWI french by Pp. Just finished one regiment and on the next.

I usually listen to the football on radio 5 live or at a pinch talksport.
