It's been good seeing the various threads charting the evolution of the rules, I'm really looking forward to getting a look when they're finished.

"Award winning"

OK, but what if the award was for "the worst new product" or similar....

Seeing the thread about train movement I serendipitously then stumbled upon several mentions (one link below) of more unorthodox tactics involving trains such as creating a "loco-loco" or "maquina loco" by packing them with explosive and sending them into enemy held towns to detonate. Apparently both sides indulged in this practice. Just wondered if the rules might make provision for this spectacularly bonkers tactic?

Cheers,

Toby

I like laying down dead dead markers but some semi-recumbent figures for variation might be nice.

Thanks, gents, that's a big help. Looking forward to the rules being finalised and available but in the meantime working at getting a couple of forces done so info on numbers of bases is really useful.

I've been very enthused by the lovely range of figures and have started on the core of my Government army. Apologies if this has been asked previously but I couldn't find the answers looking through topics - roughly how many cavalry bases will I be likely to need? I was thinking of predominantly troops in caps but thought it would be good to have some in sombreros to represent a unit of rurales as well. Guessing I'll need some foot stands for when they dismount too? Thanks in advance for your advice,

Cheers,

Toby
