Classic game of PBI last night. Late war US v Germans.

1. US player used the tank hunter asset and blew up a Stug with his first shot.
2. The German sniper sitting in a first floor window of the local boulingerie sniped the US Coy Comm between the eyes as he and a couple of bases made a mad dash for an objective.
3. The US player rolled 5 '1's' in a row for motivations.
4. He also failed to roll a single 6 when throwing a total of 35 dice during shooting in one turn.
5. The German player in a last ditch attempt to take an objective with 3 bases got hit 3 times by Here they Come Shooting and then rolled 3 '1's' for saves.

84 points to 58 points in.the end in favour of the US.

What a great game PBI is!

Anyone else have any interesting happenings during their games or is it just me?

Sean Clark

Just me then.  :)

Happy New year folks. My resolution is to talk to myself less in the new year.

Colonel Kilgore

Must be just you then Sean :)

And if podcasts aren't an exercise in talking to oneself (at least initially), I'm not sure what is...  :D Time for a new resolution before it's too late?

But that sounds like a great, fun game: seems just like the kind of repeated FUBAR I'm currently reading about during the Ardennes campaign!

Sean you have to talk more for the upcoming video clips.

PBI does produce games of great tension, at least you both had good and bad die rolls, most of my games are made up of good and bad dice rolls - Mark does all the good ones and I do all the bad ones.
