Hello all

This is my regular reminder.

Do sign off your messages with a name. Pretend you are phoning a radio talk in. Names create better social link ups. I use my name when speaking with friends. I keep my name secret when dealing with hostile people.
If your name would cause some problem for you (e.g the name Fred would give away your specific identity to "deep state" watchers), then use a made up "normal" name that people can address you with.  e.g. Kevin, Jane, Ali.

Try not to advertise your company unless you are a regular poster to the regular topics. Maybe a 10 to 1 ratio. 10 posts about relevant topics, then 1 about what you are trying to sell.  Don't join this forum in order either shout about "injustice" or to advertise what you are selling. It is not a "just one more way to get my message out and make some cash".

All wise and fair words Martin.

Thanks for the support Sean.
Manners make places nicer.

Maybe posters who are a bit shy could use the names of British Naval commanders.
Easy to find these on the internet  and they are easy to pronounce and type. They are also easier to remember as a mental note /relation.

Walter, Francis, Sandy, Horatio, et al.

The aim is to help/encourage contributors to display good manners similar to day to day social mores, rather than internet mores.

Don't forget that his name was John Jellicoe.
