Turrets in TCR will be auxiliary equivalents. They do not move though.
The turrets are small and not that powerful. They can be represented by small calibre mounts but not ship mounted gun turrets.

There will be a Peter Pig resin model soon. 25mm x 25mm square plate with a smaller round turret on top.

I recall an issue of 'Rogue Trooper' in the 80's where a line of automated sentry turrets like robotic postboxes were airdropped to form a line...

Back in the day I made a passable robotic turret for my Laserburn figures out of a plastic screw cover and a bundle of plastic rod held with thin bands of plastic tubing. It made a passable M61 Vulcan multi-barrel cannon...

That would work Neil. The turrets are intended to be small.

Ben has printed some really nice turrets about 40x40mm with double arms
Makes Martins Turrets look like a small side arm

Ooh - are we playing "my turret's larger than your turret?"  :D

Those double arms sound like a static version of ED209 from Robocop or the T1s from Terminator3.
I would have thought an adapted PBR quad mounting would fit the bill nicely. I'm also a big fan of the ZPU-4. I would have thought you could soup up either to match the TCR vibe.

Don't forget the etymology. Turret = torete or tourette (Old French diminutive) meaning'small tower'.
We can't have scale creep! ;D

I remember those. The other Rogue Trooper aspect of linear defences I recall was the bio-wire, like a semi-sentient razor wire which also appeared to have limited mobility.

I will get a picture of the new turret up tomorrow. Nigel has cast the first one. They will come in packs of 4.
