Martin,

good to hear that the rules will cover earlier conflicts. It strikes me that they may be more suitable for covering such things as Bleeding Kansas and the Confederate raiders than are the present ACW rules. Despite their gridded nature I would be interested in seeing a draft, especially as the pregame sequence is being developed, since this has always been one of my favorite parts of your rules.

Stewart,

What are you using for your circular bases - are those 2p pieces?

Whatever they are, good to see you can get 2 mounted figures on them!

Thanks,

Simon

Stewart 46A

Yes Simon 2p pieces, I can sell you a bag if 50 for £2

martin goddard

That seems good value Stewart. Pt me down for a bag please.

Thanks Stewart - you are most kind.

Perhaps even raise the stakes to £3 if they are all of the magnetic variety?

I'm assuming that P&P is included, of course - maybe special delivery from Weymouth?

Colonel Kilgore

A happy realisation when I remembered my first-ever Piggie figures - based for a skirmish game:

as well as enough in the lead mountain to field a mounted posse or force of gunmen. Should keep me out of mischief over the summer holidays...

We also have some buildings:

and scenic scatter (everything PP, of course):

Stewart: I'm getting worried you may be falling behind here?

Your going to be in Mexico or Texas then.

Those look marvellous Simon. Ready to play?

Stewart 46A

Very nice Simon, we are looking to knock a few ideas around at Martins on Wednesday

Looking forward to this new edition. Looks like I'll be finishing off the Indians but as they were started 20 odd years ago I'm going to have to do  some work.

Martin - any new figures on the line for this?

martin goddard

Not sure about new figures this year. I am still working through Russian the Vietnam stuff. But yes, i intend to add stuff to the range. At a guess i think there will be Apaches and workers as the two forces that ever got any love.

Yup - I've always fancied doing some Mexicans, to fight the Texicans.

Hopefully not too far off!

At least progress should be somewhat more rapid on these than on my SCW forces...

Er - wow!

Those aren't 15mm, are they?

Very impressive in any scale, though.
