I'm not registered on that particular forum, but a question has been asked about the "Quick Start" rules. May be worth mentioning that:

• They are still up on the PP website, and give a flavour of some mechanisms, but
• They are nearly 20 years old, which I think is at least 2 versions ago.

Personal opinion, I always found them great fun for a quick game but they no longer give a particularly accurate picture of what PBI has become. A stripped back version of the new rules would be interesting, though I appreciate there are all kinds of reasons why that may not be a good idea.
