What do people use for late war German command?

Stewart 46A

I use high cmd figures with table and chairs and a couple of periscopes on a 40x40mm base but there were various options at the Cambrai day from a staff car to usng a dugout, so as long as you can tell what the base represents se what you like

You can of course swap heads on the German Early War command for ones [WW1#5] in steel helmets, to give that Late War look (and add some gas mask cases with putty too, if you're keen).

I've done this with my British command base, and it seems to help them fit in better. I have yet to do something similar for Germans, although others may have done so - and perhaps have photos they can post?

Wardy64 had a nice command base on Saturday that does as Stewart suggests but also uses a Battlefront building shell to house them all in. He also had a nice big German flag on a stand to make it absolutely clear who's who!
