Tank tracks on 15mm vehicles.
Most of the track face/surface is not seen on WW2 vehicles.

How do you paint your tracks on WW2 15mm vehicles?

Generally matt black and then muddy it up a bit with whatever basing material I am using for that army.

Same as Derek...black with mud all over.

Gunmetal with a black wash.

Black Grey overall with a vallejo rust wash applied (which can appear muddy) and then a final white drybrush.

Dark Rust as the main colour. With light rust lightly brushed over the top and a metal colour dry brushed then inked and maybe a bit of dry brushing again.
The 2 rust colours are Vallejo Tank colours.

Dark Brown basecoat, strongtone wash, drybrush gun metal.

[Colonel Kilgore]

Darkish brown all over.
Dry-brush gunmetal then a brown wash.
Light drybrush of earth colour.
