Entoyment April 13th and June 8th.
So on April 13th, Stewart has set up a battleday for those that can't go to `salute at the Excel.
This will be his chance to get his toys out for his Omaha Beach assault in June,
And  check it's all there etc.
We then will have 8th June to do Omaha and Gold Beach assaults!
As Norte Fort fell through ? But I think we are better off at Entoyment to pay our respects to 80th Anniversary of DDay.
So obviously we will need as many people that can make both or either games day, especially the June 8th one.
Mike has set up the June 8th games day.

Do you not have the blue "Add image to post" at the bottom of your post text box, or is it a training issue, Stewart?

Very good day. Thank you Stewart for organising this and June 8th.
Apparently we don't have to pay for the tables on June 8th ? If you're doing DDay. But we have suggested that the money we would usually pay for this should go to the British legion or another good cause for Forces Veterans ?
I think Mike and Stewart also worked on some ideas about Beach obstacles and demolition?

Myself, Richard, Eric and Colin played Italy 1944.
Unfortunately the German die rolls were not up to the Wehrmacht standards? They might be banished to the Eastern Front ?
I think one thing we proved the Monte Cassino game table could be a hard nut to crack for the attackers, unless the Dice Gods and looking nicely on you ?
I won the piggy chase and forced the Germans to attack. I also got my guns on as a 3rd unit, leaving my tanks and a 3rd infantry platoon to come on as reserves.( which weren't really needed in this game today !)
I like to re rolls in the assaults, but it can make them very bloody?
Myself and Colin managed to get some of the templates into good positions, which made the table a very interesting from a defensive point of view and slightly harder from an attackers point of view.
Hopefully we got Colin and Eric up to scratch with the newer changes ?
Defenders won with a Majority win, but it was as much to do with good and bad die rolls as much as anything else ? It was one of those you win some you lose some !
We also went with extra Rocky bits and Gullies as it was Italy. With the odd bit of village and Orchards.
