Veteran 8th army attacking Average Italian.

8th army had 3 platoons, mortar platoon and a pair of MG ACs.
Italians had 3 platoons, MMG platoon and 4 tanks.

The Italians split their MMG platoon amongst the objectives. The partial objective was left empty by the Italians with their MMG overlooking it.

The British attacked on both flanks.

On the British left
The left hand British also overlooked the partial objective. The British on that flank eventually shot down the Italian over lookers and sprinted forward with a 7AP to assault other Italians. The left hand British were chopped up but in their turn chopped up a newly arrived Italian platoon.

On the British right
The British platoon on the right did really well. They shot off the two Italian bases
holding the flank wood in turn 1. Using smoke and high AP the British then assaulted the right hand objective. Took it and held it against the lately arrived Italian tanks.

Overall the game was short in number of turns.
The British veterans scored really well in AP.
The two British ACs did a great job in bashing the newly arrived Italian platoon.

If the game had been longer the Italian tanks would have carved the British up.

Small British win. The clock ran out for the arriving Italians.
