Version 94 "nearly there"

Version 94 of PBI has just gone out.

I think (?) we are very nearly at the end of the rule testing.
It must be done before version 100. That was the original arbitrary goal.

What is different about  PBI 2020 compared to the current  version 2015
We have been play testing PBI for 5 years. In the midst of that we worked on FM and ?

This list may be a  surprise to many, because we have been play testing for so long we may have forgotten what it was like??

1.Pre game is now a piggy chase
2.Unit maximums a reduced. 6 has become 5.
3.Point system small changes top foot almost none to vehicles.
4.Objectives row  not sum of 11
5.Lots of word changes. tertiary/partial etc.
6. Countdown
7.Assets 2 fewer. Simplified.
8.CC effect and move and cost.
9. Morale partial unit losses.
10. Action point creation.
11. Movement (diagonals)
12. Transports
13. Removing casualties
14. Opp/return shooting
15. Assault re-rolls
16. Smoke
17. Residuals
18. Flamethrowers
19. Mortars
20. Lots of small changes and deletions......

We have travelled a long way and are about there.
I think PBI 2020 is a better set than PBI 2015 but fear not, the older set will still be available.

What in particular would you like tested over the next couple of weeks?

with Easter looming i'll have some time to game.

Things I would like tested if that is OK.

1. Towed guns and no other tanks/armour.
2. Dug in asset, worth doing anywhere apart from road objective.
3. MMG and mortar support platoons in same force.
4. Player with zero on piggy chase.
5. Game with no buildings and no woods.
6. Raw tanks v average or veteran tanks.

Maybe include some or many in the same game.
Also I would like to hear player opinions from folk who have played 10+ games.

what a great news!

Could you provide an approximate date for when you think we could expect the new version?

I am preparing a new table to represent the landing in Peleliu and I would love to be able to play my first game on it with the new rules.
