Just going through my old Bloody Barons Army.
I want to Rebase them, more inline with CK first then I can readjust them for BB vol 2 after ?
So when doing the close order and Auxiliary bases. 2 proper and a command base is needed ?
Can Levy still be in Close Order ?
So if anyone can give me any hints etc ? Please do.

Not a problem Miles.
Units do not need a command base, but you can use one for visual effect.
All proper units are of 3 bases.
You will need about 12 half bases as the units die by the half base.

The quality of troops (vet, trained, levy) has nothing to do with type( close order, auxiliary, cavalry).

This means you might have an auxiliary unit and make it either veteran, trained or levy.

I suggest you look at the sample lust for your chosen army and work out how each unit price was worked out. If you agree then you are doing it right Miles

Thank you Martin.
Actually while looking at the army list for WotR I did see a slight oversight ?
Close Order Infantry, Armoured, no shield, Bow. 3-6 units.  But in the Example Army you have 7 such units ?

You are quite Right Miles.

I can change it on line as that is the only version
All good

Also you are allowed 0-2 auxiliary units and up to 4 of them can be levy.

More than happy to review stuff as and when, Martin.

Although I do suspect that - while neither Les nor I would claim to be totally infallible - the gremlins do then sometimes change things behind our backs  :)  :D  ;D

That said, these free PDF lists, that can readily be updated as and when issues arise, are a great innovation.

Agreed Simon, as much as anyone can look and look again, it's amazing what can go past you ?
I spotted that to John.
Foot Skirmishers only 2 I would have thought at least 4 ? By then you had the dragoons and the rifles operating? I know they only count as throwing weapons , but I did think there was a few more of them about the battlefield?

Very few if any skirmishers in the Wars of the Roses battles. Skirmishing then tended to come in the days before the battle and were used to try to locate the enemy, provide army provisions and scout out possible battlefields. On the day the light troops would set ambushes or join the main battles of the army.
