At this time of year cheap white fir trees can be found in all sorts of shops.
They might be even cheaper in the post christmas sale?
Is any one looking for these and does anyone know of any?

I do not need any this year unless they are 10" or more  high for my WESTERN 25mm games.

Go make some if you cant find what you want.   This method look interesting and may have a go when I can build the enthusiasm and time.

Don't forget that now (or cheaper post-Christmas) is the time to keep a look out for "made somewhere usually far East" houses and stables often with snow on. These often require minimal work before being wargames table ready.

Agreed Derek.
Hobby craft are quite good for those buildings.
We have now lost Wilkinsons, who did that sort of thing too.

The works?

From The Works a bag of trees for 75 pence, that's 15 pence each. There are two larger trees 6cm tall and three smaller trees 4.5cm tall in each bag. They also have silver glitter and multicoloured glitter trees.

Got some of those Martin, look VERY artificial but when clumped into a group they dont look to bad against 155 figs.

I think Wilko is coming back in certain locations?

I'll chance my arm and wait until after Christmas. B&Q and garden centres can sometimes be good for such nick-nacks?

Great idea; I was in Hema today and noticed they had just put out a big Christmas section. Will pop in tomorrow and see what they have. I also noticed a pop up Christmas shop in Groningen on Saturday so will take a look there as well. Already have a lot of Woodland Scenics trees without foliage. Will be looking to do some snowy Republican phase FPW Walter Schnaffs next year.
