I initially planned to base these on WRG bases. However having played CK at the Northern Piggie Day, I decided to commit to the usual Piggie basing style.

Here we have 8 close order, 6 auxiliary, 2 auxiliary with bows, 6 skirmishers, 2 bolt throwers, 1 cavalry, 2 mounted skirmishers,, 2 generals, 16 dead bodies and 15 half bases.

This should be enough for a nice army with some options. Maybe another 1 or 2 cavalry units might be useful.

Here is one of my generals. He has a head and an arm swap from the bald headed general. Simple, a little agricultural, but he looks nice on the table.

I've made a start on the basing. This will be finished and I'll be bringing them down to WWW.

Good news Sean
Romans are always a nice army to see and use.

One of my very first armies. Back in the mists of time I bought Peter Laing Gauls and Romans. Then I was seduced by 25mm. My 15mm armies are long lost but still missed!

Yes, I have 2 bolt throwers. Nonidea if they're any good but they look nice  :)

They are great if the opponent has valuable bases such as armoured cavalry or elephants.
Also very good if you havea hill to sit on and do not intend to leave it.

I bet Nonidea is a Romanised British godess of willow trees.
