Vary interesting - I wasn't aware of these differences.

Presumably if Martin were to produce a pack of heads with the kubanka hat, one could readily convert WW2 Soviet figures to Steppe Cossacks too?

The addition of the busby-like Telpek woollen hat would also greatly extend the range into Turkmenistan and Siberia, which shared a lot of the Cossack dress, particularly the long chokha/cherkeska coat with cartridge pouches... these regions saw prolonged fighting into the mid 1920s during the RCW and formed 'colourful' hosts in WWII.
