Hi Martin

Just adding a request to the list. I would love to see a French Foreign Legion late 19th/ early 20th century range and some lancers got the Egyptian colonial range.

Would anybody else like to see this range?

Cheer Jimbo.

I'd like to see this.. with the Bedouin - which would double up for theWW1 Arab Revolt.

I see a Squarebashing variant waiting in the wings featuring Fort Zinderneuf  8)

Could FFL be made from WWI early French with a head wearing a havelock cover. Would also be useful for creating early ACW a la 1st Manassas.

SimonC

it would be a possibility

it might be tricky getting a headswap on some of these figures

Leman (Andy)

There is, however, the joy of greenstuff.

Always fancied FFL ,from the PC wren inspiration.
Maybe PITS would work for them?  I like the idea if being the officer who carries no pack whilst the common chaps have an enormous one(pack). The Airfix office also gets a horse, which would certainly cause unrest in the ranks. C'est legion!.

maybe a pack of Tuareg on camel with rifle and another pack on foot with rifle might do it (i suspect not)?

Oh yes ! This for sure ... and a Lawrence figure !! ;)

:)Great idea - push the button Martin.

Pitts would be great to use with the foreign legion and make a change from the British colonial units
There is also the Italians in North Africa.

Great for another distraction for Martin.

Martin, adapt some of the Tuareg sculpts to carry rifles and you're good to go though, having already done WW1 Turks, some packs intended for the Arab Revolt would be logical, do the job equally well and, most important, generate more sales.

The target audience for WW1 remains much bigger than for Colonial, although there is an upsurge in interest in the latter, mainly due to the MWWBK rules, and Blue Moon covers the FFL pretty comprehensively (mine are mainly venerable Minifigs) but there's always a need for more Arabs.

Oh Yeah, I would lay cash down for this :)

PITS for the FFL would be a lovely extension to the rules and ranges I think. I would definitely go for these

Leman (Andy)

I see that havelock kepis have become available in the ACW heads section. Would these not be good for FFL using early WWI French?
