Only 104 pages?! What have people bee doing with their time since the previous issue?  ;D

Am I suffering from deja vu or are Sean's two WW1 battle reports the same , but with different titles? Regardless of that a great read and a great Mill.

Thanks Martin,

I'm glad that you published the "Walter Schnaffs" expansion proposal, but I'm afraid that the layout suffered a few in the process, with misalignments and the "Assault" chart half-cut in its middle... Nothing serious however, and I hope it helps inspiring players for this period.

Cheers,

A nice issue, with surely something for most tastes?

I particularly enjoyed:
- John G-L's use of scenic backgrounds for his ACW photos
- Mark's Bolshevik cavalry bricolage for some very characterful figures
- Pierre and Xavier's wonderful MexRev game (even though they make me feel very inadequate)
- reading Sean's Mons article twice (made sure I was paying attention)
- Jimmy J's practical piece on painting African huts

I echo Simon's comments:
- Mark's Bolshevik cavalry bricolage for some very characterful figures - I would never have thought of that!
- Pierre and Xavier's wonderful MexRev game (even though they make me feel very inadequate) - amen
- Jimmy J's practical piece on painting African huts - seen elsewhere but still nicely done!

No worries Pierre I shall go back and mend it

This is super - a smashing variety of subjects through the piece and nicely put together, excellent work Martin!

Good work all (& thanks for kind words about my article too :) )

Actually Pierre, many thanks for the FPW input. I printed it out and then, using a bit of old style cut and paste, created a two sided playsheet where the tables follow the actual course of play. I even cut out the morale results and reinforcement tables from the relevant pages of my pdf copy of Square Bashing to make the playsheet even more comprehensive. I have also had a go at designing two armies (Imperial French and German) and carried out a pre-game campaign, using 6 and 1 for the French and 3 and 4 for the Germans, in preparation for giving Krupp Bashing a run out in a few days time.
