2 packs of mounted cossacks.
1= Swords and 2= carbines.
The intention is to add lancers and command  soon.

Foot packs under construction are command, infantry (WW1) MMGs and gun crew.

Good to see this progress, Martin!

Excellent. Having painted 2 large RCW armies last year, extra Cossacks will be welcome  especially if the mounted version are 1 piece.

martin goddard

Thank you

I think cossacks might make a good army for WW1 and WW2??
The long coats should make them easier to paint?

Multi-use armies are always welcome!

Indeed, I have French serving in three wars, Austrians, Prussians and Bavarians serving in two (2nd half of C19th).

I faced Stewart's Coxsackie army during playtesting at the old church hall we used to play at. Did he have a train too? Either way, 13 odd years later the scars still remain from the beating he gave me 🤣😆

Excellent additions to the range.

Can I build a Russian WW2 army including Cossacks yet Martin do you think?

martin goddard

There are lots more cossacks on the way Les.
Should be a coupe of months until they are done.
The big overcoat should make the paint easy (grey or tan??)

Oh wow, Martin, those look great! - you've got the same lovely characterful animation in the figures and horses as are in your 'Mexican adventure'.
I can see my Atamans chafing at the bit to recruit these chaps into my Far Eastern Republic & Eastern Siberian cossack hosts in the not too distant future... with a little work they could even boost my Turkmen hosts for my Transcaspian venture...
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this range progresses

nicely done!

The Cossacks in particular are lovely.

I think Martin's right that the greatcoat should be easy to paint - and maybe make this force particularly popular with those who struggle to find time to work on their figures (and of course they get both a PBI and a Square Bashing force in one!).

I have to keep an eye on the ever increasing range of figures.
