That was in reply to our conversation two days ago about bringing you a set of square bashing rules on the Mexico day.

I've been contacted by the hospital today and a cancellation has become available for an eye operation tomorrow. I've been on the list for nearly 18 months so can't turn it down.

It does mean I can't get down for Mexico day as I can't drive for 48 hours. Fortunately there will be other games days but there aren't many hospital appointments.

So to those going enjoy, and I'll hopefully see you at the next one.

More reminders.

1. Various units can travel into a square and remove casualties.
2. Taking cover gives another +1 to shooting saves. No one must enter or leave the square for it to remain "taking cover".
3. One touch rule means that scenery pieces can only touch one other piece (6" touch).
4. Gentle hills count as "open" for cavalry assaults.
5. Cavalry gallops must be used all before or all after  AP are used.
6.General rolls a D6 for movement. No re-roll.
