Squarebashing 2023 Theme

The theme for this year will be Western Front 1918. I would like to do something a little different this year. Rather than individual games I'd like to run a <long> game of 3-4 tables together (1 v 1 , but with some crossover) 

The morning will be trench game , then the afternoon game either a breakthrough or counter attack depending on the outcome. This will take a bit more organising, as we will need equal numbers each side and each will need an attack and defence list.

Very interesting! I much prefer these "big games". Martin's Cambrai day at Nothe Fort was a notable success.

I like that idea, having been there for the Cambrai, that was a very good day. The "big" game ideas are very good, the River game is a very good example.

I can provide an army for either side, late war Germans, Brits or French. I also have the Ironclad miniatures trench system if needed. I'll vote German in the poll though having both Sean and I on the same side may prove too great a handicap for the Germans.

Chris is not wrong. Though if we're  talking late 1918, probably historically accurate 😆

Love to get involved. Only have Turks, Italians and Arab Revolt so will have to borrow an Army if someone doesn't mind. Happy to be either side. Got to be good and not start yet another army. Have 3 in progress right now as it is although yet to seriously start any of them.
