The general's gifts.
There are three markers.
Each one is a shield with the letter M, F or V on it.
The shield is held above the figure's head so that it is flat side up for clarity.
I will get some pictures done on Tues or Weds.
This is important, as it starts to make the CK rules more  "fixed".
No going back now (?).

The figure is dressed in trousers and has long hair.
I might make a naked man version for earlier armies if folk think that a good idea?

Rather than a naked man, how about a man in a simple tunic for the early armies.

This sounds like a positive development on a number of fronts.

I'm with John on a simple tunic vs. birthday suit, though.

On further reflection, would a generic slave figure be a good alternative i.e. for this "period", markers needn't be fighting men.

Of course, an appropriate simple tunic could work well for slaves!

Very nice and clear, Stewart - every CK army needs some of these!

Those are really good Stewart.

There are two versions of the CK markers as suggested.

With clothes and without clothes (almost).

I'm shocked that Stewart went for the clothed variety.

Lots of opportunities for some Carry-On "my, what a big sword you have" humour with these, I think  ;D

I was going to say with/without pants but the America members and British members might worry.
British men (except Donald) always wear pants in case they get run over.

Saw these in Canada. I really fancy fielding a team of them but not at $12 each!

I'm intrigued as to which of your armies they'd fit with, Derek!

Any ancients. I believe bear baiting or having dancing bears was considered a major demonstration of a leaders wealth! Sadly it still goes on in some places even today.

I seem to remember they were about 30mm tall so maybe could have fit with a 28mm army.

Have been scouring EBAY to see if I could find anything similiar (but a lot cheaper) that I could use. I do like Martins Markers (May even get round to painting the 2 sets I have one day) but thought they were fun.

Anyone seen something else that could be used??
