Todays mould.
Probably the last  Carolingian packs.

Cavalry in cloak (Elite??)
Charlemagne and standard bearer on horses.

Will get photos done in the next two days.

Only pack left to do is the dead.

Thanks all.
I will try to get the photos done tomorrow (monday) ::)

Sean Clark

Lovely. I found some nice images for Carolingian shields today to assist with painting.

Colonel Kilgore

Where did you find those images, Sean? I've been buying up all the relevant Osprey books I can find, but detail on shields - and particularly banners - seems pretty scant.

Simon

Bankinista

Can't speak for the sources but try Googling "Carolingian shields".

Bankinista - that's really my point - relevant / credible results - ideally from reputable sources. And not featuring lots of women who happen to be called "Caroline Shields" :)

I've just seen the photos of this latest mould - really lovely sculpts, Martin - this range is an absolute beauty!

With only 1 pack to do I can now try to catch up with some  other pressing stuff.

Phew!

Colonel Kilgore

1 pack! - not the 3 degree of death this time, then?  ;D

Here you go  it's a pack of decals, that are 15mm, but I'll use them as inspiration when I come to paint mine. Not a fan of shield decals - too fiddly and in any case, Martin has engraved the shields for us already.
