Hi,

Can someone point me in the direction of the definition of 'Artillery Quality' in the rules.
I can't find a definition of what it is anywhere in the rules.

Thanks

Colonel Kilgore

John,

Page 38 in the printed rules provides a table for deviation according to artillery quality.

Hello John

I will try to help.

The guns on table are always regular (or average) quality.
No shooting modifiers are applied unless the gun is damaged ,which would reduce it to just 1D6 for shooting.

Off table guns (barrages)
Off table guns = barrages.
These are categorised as poor/average/good.
No extra/fewer points are paid for this off table quality, as it is dictated by the army list.
The quality will affect deviation as Simon said.

Sorted?

Thanks Martin & Simon. That is very useful

We are having a first go of SB this week. As recommended we'll be playing the Quick version. I therefore skimmed through the assets part which will explain why I didn't spot the rule.

Thanks again.

John
