I used this when it came out.  Good start to WW2 gaming. Did not like the MG templates etc. Not keen on shooting templates because players can wobble it on to targets of choice. His mini tank and Airfix Russian combination were the bees knees!  Minitanks made a curios selection of WW2 stuff. All lovely but not enough useful items. the useful items were the pumas, Stug, PZIV and T34.

Minitanks still do make a curious selection, but fairly expenxsive 10.00 - 30.00 euros.

Never played any of the games in this book.

I prefered other Charles Grant books.

I only played games using Battle! Practical Wargaming, and Napoleonic Wargaming both by Charles Grant in the 1970's.

It was one of the books that got me into wargaming as a rather alienated child in the seventies; still have a lot of affection for it although I have never ever used the rules
