I have a couple of ideas, but could do with knowing a deadline to give me focus! "When its ready!" is a reasonable answer!

First week of November.
Make sure you hear that at the back.

Colonel Kilgore

That is a reasonable timeline for our homework submission, thanks Martin.

Great. I'll  not break with tradition on start work  on 31st October.

I will try and collate some of my Bloody Barons stuff for an article. Is it ok to submit as an email?

martin goddard

E mail would be great Andy.
Make sure you announce your article in order to encourage the others by guilt or example

Martin,

I see that you did indeed say first week of November as a deadline - apologies for not properly reading the exam question  :(

I have just emailed you a couple of articles for consideration, in the hope that these will not be too late.

I did of course prepare more work last month, but the dog ate it.

All great Simon

Look forward to seeing them.

I have spent time working on MILL 14.
The quality of articles really is good.

I can say in an unbiased way  :-[that this is the best hobby magazine i have read.
The articles actually impart information and  create interest.

Well written chaps.  This is going to be the Christmas issue I think ( the 4 per year has slipped a bit)?

Maybe an extra edition of "best bits from the forum?"

Colonel Kilgore

Oh dear, we'd better stop imparting information and creating interest, that would never do. I will try to find some pictures of pro-painted figures in a larger scale that have only a passing relevance to my next article, as that seems to be the industry norm?  ;D

More seriously, I'm delighted that you've got another nice haul of relevant and engaging articles, Martin, and am very much looking forward to the 2022 Christmas edition of The Mill!

If anyone complains about the lack of issues this year  offer them a full refund. They deserve it.

I think the aim of 4 issues a year is doable...provided everyone has the time. 3 good quality issues is fine by me if that is what time allows. I'll  look forward to seeig what is coming in the next  issue.

I frequently return to  previous issues and find them a great resource. Well done all.
