I went to London, Wembley Arena to see 3 bands instead, hence why I didn't go to Colours either.
Bad timing on Bovington's calendar to clash with one of the Wargames Premier shows ! If they were serious about doing Wargames?

Bovington did ask me to run the wargames part for the day but I declined on the grounds that most of the traders would be at Colours.
I told them they should move back to July but the events manager wants wargames and models together.

Thanks for the explanation, Stewart - that's interesting. I guess the Bovi events manager may be repeatedly disappointed if this is how things are scheduled...

They certainly are a strange lot. When Dave and I go down for the Tiger Days there are always complications (not saying they are caused by the Museum staff), but when we do TankFest it all runs smoothly. Bizarre.
