I'm glad to share our latest 1:100 scale Grand Prix racers release - that of the iconic Bugatti type 59. This is our first DLP 3D-printed model in this range, so it's produced in one single piece - no assembly required, then. It can be already purchased from Minairons miniatures website.

Here below you have a painted sample from my own collection (not my best photo taking job, admittedly):

Its 1:72 scale version is nearly ready, too. Release is scheduled for within this month of July.

I can't think of a use in one of my forces yet, but that's a lovely little model, Lluis! I'm following your 3D printing exploration with interest - this does seem to be a high-quality output.

I do hope you sell lots, and that this encourages you to do more such prints!

Just edited my starting installment to show better pictures than before.

Also, I'm happy to show you its 1:72nd scale version, which is already available too:

That does paint up very well Lluis.

Are you going to make a Bugatti P1?

Are you going to make a Bugatti P1?

If only I knew which one was it... As for what I believed to know, vintage Bugattis were usually named "type XX", being XX a number.
Are you alluding to Type 59/50 perhaps?

Leslie BT

This was an air racer pre-war.

The Bugatti Model 100 was a purpose built air racer designed to compete in the 1939 Deutsch de la Meurthe Cup Race. The aircraft was not completed by the September 1939 deadline and was put in storage prior to the German invasion of France.

yes, a bit special in the design and in the 30's as well.
