It has been three weeks since I last made a mould. Other stuff keeps happening :D

Todays mould contained parts for the re-done Egyptian chariot.
Not really a better model, but one with some new ideas in it.

The new idea is to have a slot on the horse shoulder into which the cross beam of the chariot fits.  This should make the connection strong and easy to understand.
The horse are all new as is the skirt and chariot base. The existing chariot crew will continue I think.

New chariots will  be out by the end of this week.
I will get them photoed along with the SCW bombers.

Next I am starting work on converting the m113 metal models into resin.  I think? Then those Carolingians.

Well done all round, Martin - great stuff achieved and in the pipeline!

It's the attention to detail in the design and fit we all appreciate, Martin.
I've had fiddly chariots from, well, Chariot miniatures, in the past. Lovely sculpts, but with no provision for assembly or durability of use and being pretty much left to one's own devices when it comes to assembly can be intimidating particularly the lighter chariots where because of the material the centre of gravity of the model is quite different to real life.
Nicely done!
