Nw that pikes cost an extra 3 points ,here is a proposed successor army.

6 Units of close order pike unarmoured (2 veteran)
1 armoured cavalry
3 mounted skirmishers
3 Elephants
4 Auxiliaries
5 foot skirmishers

299 points

Assuming  a cavalry man is 2 figures.
180 figures + elephants.


2 strong pike zones. With elephants.  Need to get fighting soon as possible.
1 auxiliary zone.  Able to operate in bad scenery.
1 weak cavalry zone. Grab some zones?
Foot skirmisher give support and protect pikes.

This army can  attack or defend.
For lates, gamble with auxiliaries and cavalry.

I agree it is a nice looking army.

The way in which it has a bit of everything might make painting take longer?

Indeed Julian, the veterans do cost a fair bit but they add that vital extra to morale so that the units stay  fighting.
