Next up is the refresh project to update some of my earlier models to an improved standard. I am now following a couple of youtube influencers who have rekindled my interest in modelling and painting. This includes trying out new ideas or ways of painting.

This is one of five Tiger 1s that I am repainting (on of them is a hefty PP one).

and next to one of the originals to see how much difference it makes and where it came from

That really is a good paint job Si.
I see you are using a spray brush.

Are you using the spray brush for any thing else apart from vehicles?
I do not know how useful they are ?
When i was last at Brookhurst hobbies they were shifting a lot of airbrushes.

Hi Martin, I use my airbrush for all the undercoating regardless of if it is a figure or a vehicle. This means I can undercoat in the house without having to worry too much about odours.

Most of my terrain and buildings are also given a base coat with the airbrush.

I also painted the majority of my 15mm Russians (your nice new ones) with any airbrush before finishing off the detail with a brush

Martin, The best place for Airbrushes, is a place called "Everything Airbrush" near to Wareham. On the same industrial Estate that Sunseeker have a lot of their units.
Great bunch in their and they don't "force" anything on you ! Well recommended.

So finished the last of the plastic ones first thing this morning before work.  The idea is that I can do four "generic" ones and then do a dedicated model if needed for a particular division with the Kursk tactical markings and specific numbering system used.
