Hi...  ;)

Here are a few pictures (just pictures... No debriefing...  ;)  ) of two games we played yesterday and a month ago.

The rules played are "Groupe Franc" (https://reglesvv.monsite-orange.fr/file/4b173975ea117ec3ec67976d6f8cb1a9.pdf) and the addon "Spanish Civil War" (https://reglesvv.monsite-orange.fr/file/bba58e7215bfa043ac4eab1eadf1b719.pdf).

Vehicles cards :
http://regles.wargames.monsite-orange.fr/sweattears20emesiecle/index.html (bottom of the web page - "Cartes de référence rapide...").

These rules are written in french...

Every figures (except 2 vehicles) are Peter Pig ones : the sculpting is truely outstanding !! Full of details... and so many various poses !!  :-*

Thanks for this photo report, Xavier. Another amazing game, and Pierre's painting is yet again stunning.

Do you know where those buildings came from?

Well done Pierre and Xavier.
I'll have to come down and join you in a game that would be 100% PP if we use his rules as well.

How did the game go with the rules you used?
Is the table 180cm x 120cm and using a grid?

Are the buildings hovels?

Anatoli

Thank you, Simon...  ;)

I don't know where they come from... But I think they are from the late 90s and unfortunately do not exist anymore...  :-\

Maybe on eBay...

Pierre should tell you more about them...

Cheers,

Xavier

The rules set works well. Easy to learn (one of the three players did not know the rules before starting and learnt them fast).
You are right : 180 x 120 cm et a grid system.

Not sure, but you may be right...  ;)

Wonderful work. It all looks really cohesive.

Wow, super good.
I shall pillage that for the MILL  (hope that is OK).
One of those buildings is the old DRUM church. They can be identified by the carefully sculpted exposed brickwork and sharp corners. SHQ then had them and then they are with some one else now.

Once again, very nice indeed.
Thanks for using PP chaps.

martin :)

Great photos. Those buildings really are nice.

Wonderful figures, buildings and vehicles. I do like the Gaz truck with the yellow cab.

Thank you and best wishes,

Really nice set up.
Many of the other (non Church) buildings are from the Battlezone range produced by the defunct Gladiator games. They also produced a field set, a rough ground set, a river and bridges amongst others. The range makes up the bulk of my Bayonet & Ideology scenery and I shall use it when I finally finish my Italian Square Bashing force.
Funnily enough I've just started painting Battlezone's Marsh set. It's a shame the range is no longer available as it was really versatile.
