Hello all
The basic pack price will rise  near the end of August.
At the moment the price is £3.50.   The new price will be in the £3.70 area.

The price rise should ensure I get that new cat flap for my elderly cat (24+ years).
It will be a really good one. I can assure you hard working  buyers of PP products.

Also Mike and Nigel will get a pay rise (3%??).

PP mostly exists to cover its costs rather than push the price as far as it can be pushed.
Vote piggy with your wallet. I might use that on the AK day for a billboard?

Thank you for the advance notice, Martin.

This gives people a month to get in their orders and beat the rise.

Your figures will of course remain excellent value for money.

That's fair enough Martin. Still cheap compared to the prices on EBAY  :o

Martin, that is still very competitive with the other manufacturers', and some of the figures from some other manufacturers are now a little long in the tooth.

Martin,
Are vehicles etc. going up by a similar amount (6%)?

I'm glad Mike and Nigel will get a pay rise and I hope it's a much better one than mine (16p per week).

Best wishes,

Thanks Martin. Very fair all round especially the cat flap. Need to look after our senior family members.

Cheers,

It's just the same for us here Council workers too Dave, and we get considerably less than you Civil Servants do as well....
I am hoping I can get an order in before the prices go up ?
What date at the end of August ? Please make it after 28th then I can put an order in ! As I ve got a Rock Festival to go to beforehand so this months "spare" money is going towards that.

Better keep it in perspective chaps.

Otherwise this topic will  invite everyone to fall into the "poor me" territory.
There is no shame in being paid well and I hope you all get enough to live well on.

Peter Pig makes me a profit of about £3000  a year.
That reflects a  year of work.

I always enjoy some teasing and light heartedness, but do try to be realistic.
Please compare the £3000 I make   to your own profit for a year's work.
Maybe you would wish to list your income?

Try to be nice.

Still the best value on the market. Looking at it in real terms, it's an extra £1 for every 5 packs you buy. So if you buy 15 packs, it's the cost of a posh cup of coffee. I'd rather buy the figured than a posh cup of coffee.

I've just recieved my Fallschirmjaeger for Crewe after having the order ready to send in for 12 months. With them and my Mexican Government army, I have plenty to go at for the next few weeks.

If I can paint the Mexican figures, before the price rise, I'll get the Rebels from my August pay packet. If not, I certainly won't begrudge the the 2 cups of posh coffee I'll have to give up.

I don't drink posh coffee, but it's always worth looking at these things in real world terms!

And your income doesn't interest me. It's if your a nice person I'm interested in. You can be a millionaire for all I care, but if you're a grumpy old git, I'd rather not wargame with you. 😂😅

pbeccas (Paul)

And don't forget these are metal figures, far superior to all that bendy plastic rubbish they are bringing out now.

Leman (Andy)

........which snaps if it doesn't bend (but it does hold paint extremely well!).

That should be on a T Shirt Julian.
